I’ve been lucky/blessed to be surrounded by lots of family and friends that do care, and it has helped me avoid this moment of cynicism and hurt. However, I understand and it’s easy to fall into a hole of despair when you look around and realize the world really is full of people ready to look all the way down on you. Yet even if you believe yourself as far down as they see you it’s always good to remember the only place left to go is up.
